Gabriel Garton is a documentary film and television writer, editor, and post producer. His work has been showcased on major streaming platforms, broadcast television, web, OnDemand, and have won awards in film festivals.

Garton served as the editor for the epic 8-part series, "On The Fly: Adventures at Altitude" (2023), which aired on the Smithsonian Channel and Paramount+. He also contributed to the 4-part series, "When Truth Isn't Truth: The Rudy Giuliani Story" (2023), produced by MSNBC Films, and the feature film, "Split Screen" (2022), also produced by MSNBC Films and released on Peacock. Additionally, Garton's editing skills were instrumental in the groundbreaking 5-part series, "Countdown: Inspiration4 Mission to Space" (2021), which premiered on Netflix. Furthermore, he edited the feature film, "Sesame Street: 50 Years of Sunny Days" (2021), which aired on ABC and Hulu. In 2020, Garton showcased his talents as a director with the short film, "Covid Nurses," which won the prestigious "Award of Merit" in the Best Shorts Film Competition, the "Hometown Hero" category in the Brooklyn Independent Film Festival, and the "Best Documentary" award at the Coney Island Film Festival.

He is a volunteer judge for the NYC Short Documentary Film Festival, and has dedicated his time to mentoring high school students in Queens as a volunteer instructor, fostering their skills in nonfiction film editing.
